To Dream... vigorously, wholly, and fantastically!

Writing is so much fun. Not so much the typing, my hands can do without that, but what I enjoy the most is the dreaming.

How many people can delve into a world before unknown and live in it as real as if they were a true visitor into an actual preexisting place? A true visionary makes the best sort of story tellers. I hope to rise to such a level as I write. I see the world, now it's time to put it on paper and make the characters seem as real there as they do in my mind's eye.

Experience is the best writer. How then do most people create worlds that don't exist in nature? Experience can come in many forms though. A real dream, a daydream, a nightmare even can bring up the most inviting and awesome experiences. A mind's trained eye can tell you what you should or ought to be experiencing far better than if you just 'make up' a situation. No, it is far better to dream a reality, to participate in it and delve into the underbelly of a dream with the vigor of a ravenous consuming beast.

So I leave for a bit. I am determined to tame that beast and swallow up every tidbit of reality that comes with it. Full founded characters are more than meets the eye in life, why not in dreams as well.  Farewell this world. I shall return when I have the experience of a lifetime to share with you!

GrrrRibbit Haboob!

A publishing house for self publishing has contacted me. I am still not interested in doling out all that money for my books. I am seeking an agent to help me find a real publisher. My books are far too interesting to foot the bill myself.

My hands have gotten worse and worse with the EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome). I wear fingerless gloves ALL the time now, even in 115 degree heat. My lips turn blue as if cold and so do my fingers and toes. Poor circulation? It's laughable for me until they start hurting from the cold. At that point I fish out the handheld heat packs to slip inside my gloves ;D Mmmm toasty! And yes, I actually HAVE used the warmers in 120 degree heat! Nice note, at least my lovely husband has no qualms about warming his wife's lips for her whenever she has need of it. After 11 and a half years of marriage it's nice to see that the romance continues!

My book GrrrRibbit! has become my most publishable story at the moment. Its a middle grade fiction that is very dear to my heart and actually starts in Arizona where I grew up. Haboobs are VERY frequent there and it was fun to write about one as I've experienced them for 22 years; about 3 times each summer at the very LEAST. I do hope to find publication for the book soon ^_^

Home life has improved now that I homeschool my daughters. My youngest can now read! It has been easier for all of us that she also doesn't vie away from reading anymore. She will be the first to say "That sign says:..." etc. It is SO wonderful compared to the shy, teary-eyed child struggling in public school. She especially loves reading MY books! She says they are scary and fun and awesome all at the same time. Ahh hope rewarded ^_^

Soon I hope everyone may be able to give such praises. Here's hoping someone picks me up!

Have a lovely day!

GrrrRibbit Synopsis

Frogs, demons, magic sticks charmed with runes, and a few kids determined to free their friends' dad. GrrrrRibbit is a book for middle graders that will take them to a world very much like this one, but where magic exists and heroes are real.
Hopefully the man they are rushing to save actually wants to be saved. Because cuss-word using evil demons can't be real... right? Either way Crystal and Jacob have a whole new respect for their aunt in teaching them to keep their language clean!

The book is finished, and it is waiting to be published. Wish me luck in finding a lovely agent!

Thank you!
